[He's shoving the covers back and hoping to his feet, trying to straighten his hair.]

You seemed like you could use the sleep.

Haha, I've had enough--that has to be at least three hours, yes?

[He pauses a moment but goes back to trying to get himself in order.]

[And like this is the perfectly natural progression of things and not all out of order, he asks with charm and gentle inquisition.]

And who are you?

[ WITH HIS PAW STILL ALL STRETCHED OUT TOWARD TANTALIZING SWISHY HAIR: ]

It's a pleasure to meet you, Lucky. What brings you to my bed?

I wanted to sleep, and it was warm.

[swordingitout]

[He laughs a little, startled.]

Hm, that reminds me of someone. Well, I hope you have a very nice nap.

[He's going to get up and throw on his cape and adjust his clothes so he looks kingly enough for paperwork.]

[mewtation]

[ but my bedwarmer :( letting his paw drop ]

Where are you going?

[swordingitout]

I have work to do. But don't let me keep you from your nap.

[He is just. Completely unconcerned it seems.]

[ if you weren't Ryner's thing and therefore now his he would in fact finish taken that nap, but it's inadvisable to leave new things alone when they're unaware of their new ownership :|a oozing out of the bed himself ]

That's very kind of you, but I think I'm done as well.

I see. Shall I send for breakfast?

[mewtation]

[ tiny breathy pwrrt. stretching with forepaws on the ground and his back end still on the bed, curling his tail into a loose curve ]

Forgive me, but I'm not acquainted with your species or diet. What shall I send for?

[mewtation]

I can eat anything that a human can, but I do best with meat and sweet things.

[swordingitout]

That should be easy enough.

[He goes to the door, speaks with someone outside and then goes to a different door and opens it into his office, where he goes to sit at his desk, covered in mountains of paperwork.]

[ agreeing ]

It would be inconvenient otherwise.

[ ...that looks really boring... washing his face and contemplating that ]

[He settles in and looks ready to do this forever. Eventually a servant will bring in breakfast, two trays and an odd glance at Lucky, but Sion doesn't even seem to notice the food.]

[mewtation]

[ yeah it is pretty weird that there's a young man in Sion's bed :3c

(sorry, Sion.) (no he's not.)

waiting until the servant is gone to drop the glamour and sort of. mentally poking Sion. it feels something like the abrupt jerk to alertness one can sometimes have while drifting off ]

[Sion looks up sharply, eyes narrowing, a hand touching his head, the other raising sharply, his voice a cold, clear command in tone, nothing like the amiable tone so far.]

Lucile.

[Lucky won't sense any presence at all, nor see anything. But Sion is clearly addressing someone.]

Wait.

[And his focus is on Lucky now, but the gentle tone is a little colder, more businesslike and distant.]

Is the food not to your liking?

[mewtation]

[ tips his head a little and slips some of his own awareness into Sion's head, trying to see what he's communicating with and how ]

I haven't tried it yet. I assumed that since two trays were brought one was intended for you.

[swordingitout]

[Sion's eyes narrow a little and there's nothing. Nothing nothing nothing, he could be talking to thin air.]

It's all right, Lucile.

[Still talking to thin air. Still nothing, he seems to be addressing thin air as his eyes focus on Lucky.]

What magic are you using? It reminds me of Ebra Crypt, but you don't look like you have cursed eyes. Were you a human experiment?

I don't have magic in the sense that you use the term...? And I am merely patterned off of humans. I am not human myself.

[Sion seems to relax a little, though not entirely. He addresses Lucky directly for now, no longer talking to thin air.]

Hm. What, may I ask, are you?

[mewtation]

[ a pause ]

I was intended to be a weapon. However, I am currently on strike, or perhaps "absent without leave."
